TapeTrack Lite Manage Media Library

Selecting Manage Media Library allows the user to view all volumes by media type and location. An individual volume's move date can be changed and a description entered or changed for a particular volume. Printing of volumes is also available from this window.

• Run TapeTrack Lite
• Click to highlight Manage Media Library, then click Next.
• Enter a log file location, then click Next.
• Enter your user-id and password, then click Ok.

The customer selection window above will only be displayed if the user has access to multiple customers within the TapeTrack Framework Server data base. If required select the customer or server you require, then click Next.

Displayed in the TapeTrack Lite Manage Media Library window will be every volume known the the TapeTrack Framework Server's data base.

• Locate a Volume
• Identify a Volumes Location
• Add or Edit a Move Date
• Add or Edit a Description
• Printing the listed tapes

After changes have been made to a volume in the Manage Media Library window the process is not complete till the Next button is pressed. This will update your changes to the TapeTrack framework Server.

All transaction changes are written to a log file that is date and time stamped.

• View Log File, opens the log file to view onscreen
• Print Log File, prints the log file to your default printer.
